Month of August: Clear the shelter month, which means adoption fees for cats & dogs are lower than usual! $10 per cat, $20 per dog

Sundays, August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 at 12-2 p.m.: PetSmart Adoption Events with Cruces Cool Cats (we'll have 2-3 lovable cats on-site). Address: 2200 E. Lohman Ave., Las Cruces, NM

Saturday, August 22 at 2-4 p.m.: Monthly Open House open to the public. We give tours of the rescue and sanctuary, including the catio with the outdoor cats and inside the home with the indoor cats and dogs. We share programs, including Hardship, TNR, and Foster Programs. We accept monetary donations as well as item donations of cat and dog food and cat litter. We sell pastries and plants.
